Questions people ask before starting
It's a set of rules that determine whether you're UK-resident for tax purposes in a given year, based on days spent here and other ties. Your accountant will apply it to your situation.
Depends on your residency and domicile. Non-UK residents generally don't pay UK tax on foreign income; residents usually do.
In the year you arrive or leave the UK, tax can sometimes be split so you're only UK-resident for part of the year. We'll check if that applies to you.
Often yes, at least for the year you leave, plus any year you have UK income. Your accountant will confirm and file if needed.
